• Delay incidents are incidents that cause delay to passenger and freight trains. Delay incidents cause delay minutes.
• Historical delay minutes may be refreshed due to a dispute resolution process.
Notes:
1. The annual punctuality targets at a train operator level have been established through jointly developing a Performance Strategy (PS) with each operator.
2. South West Trains average lateness figures do not include Island Line data.
3. Network Rail informed us that the Possession Disruption Index for Passengers (PDI-P) at the National level had calculation issues which meant data could not be reported for periods 1 to 4.
4.
Figures only capture Network Rail owned stations and light maintenance depots.
5. Final Assessment is due for completion in January 2018
6. The data quality of some asset types had not been fully assessed at the end of CP4. Final determination: http://www.orr.gov.uk/rail/publications/reports/final-determination

This is an official statistic. For further information please email Rail.Stats@orr.gsi.gov.uk.
