Welcome to the September newsletter of the National Rail Trends (NRT) Portal. The NRT Portal went live in May 2011 and in the last five months we have received some very useful feedback. We are now keen to get some more detailed feedback to understand how useful the existing content and functionality of the NRT Portal is, and to get your thoughts on how content and functionality can be further enhanced.
We have developed an online survey that can be completed by visiting the NRT Portal homepage. We encourage all of you to complete it as comprehensively and honestly as possible. Your feedback will be used to inform future enhancements and help prioritise the addition of new datasets. Deadline to complete the survey is 30 September 2011.
Since we last wrote to you on 4 August 2011 we have added / updated a number of reports and datasets.
 
New reports
 
 
Following a joint review in 2010-2011, ORR agreed that Network Rail should present Annual Return data at national (England and Wales / Scotland) and network level. ORR will now provide access to the disaggregated data (previously disseminated via Network Rail's Annual Return) via the NRT Portal. The following reports are now available on the NRT portal and the remaining data previously presented in the Annual Return will be added to the portal in the next few weeks:
