Disabled Persons Railcards

Periodic (4-weekly) statistics containing data on the number of Disabled Persons Railcards in circulation. Whilst all of these statistics are published at a periodic level, they are updated quarterly.

Key results

  • There were 283,148 Disabled Persons Railcards (DPRC) in circulation in rail periods 8 to 10, an increase of 20% compared with the same rail periods in the previous year.
  • Overall, 27,840 one-year DPRC were issued during rail periods 8 to 10 of the latest year. This is 28% higher than the same rail periods in the previous year.
  • There were 8,504 three-year DPRC issued during rail periods 8 to 10 of the latest year. This is 7% lower than the same rail periods in the previous year.
