Periodic (4-weekly) statistics containing data on the number of Disabled Persons Railcards in circulation. Whilst all of these statistics are published at a periodic level, they are updated quarterly.

Key results

  • There were 450,487 Disabled Persons Railcards (DPRC) in circulation at the end of rail period 4, an increase of 25% compared with the end of the same rail period in the previous year.
  • Overall, 90,108 one-year DPRC were issued during rail periods 1 to 4 of the latest year. This is 40% higher than the same rail periods in the previous year.
  • There were 28,156 three-year DPRC issued during rail periods 1 to 4 of the latest year. This is 11% higher than the same rail periods in the previous year.
