Biannual statistics containing data on passenger lifts at Network Rail-owned stations in Great Britain. This includes information on the number of lifts, lift reliability and lift entrapments.

Key results
- As of 11 October 2025, there were 1,377 passenger lifts at 528 Network Rail-owned stations in Great Britain.
- A total of 5,550 lift faults were recorded in rail periods 1 to 7 (1 April 2025 to 11 October 2025). This is an increase of 6% on the same rail periods the previous year. On a fault per lift basis, the rate has increased by 2% from 3.96 faults per lift to 4.03 faults per lift. The average time to repair lift faults decreased by 11% to 19.4 hours.
- There were 369 lift entrapments in rail periods 1 to 7, which was down 7% compared with the same periods the previous year. The average time to respond decreased by 10% from 49 minutes to 44 minutes.
