Disabled Persons Railcards

Periodic (4-weekly) statistics containing data on the number of Disabled Persons Railcards in circulation. Whilst all of these statistics are published at a periodic level, they are updated quarterly.

Key results

  • There were 361,567 Disabled Persons Railcards (DPRC) in circulation at the end of rail period 4. This is 16% higher than the number in circulation at the end of rail period 4 in the previous year.
  • Overall, 64,541 one-year DPRC were issued in the latest four periods, an increase of 10% on the number issued in the same periods in the previous year.
  • There were 25,377 three-year DPRC issued in the latest four periods, an increase of 22% on the number issued in the same periods in the previous year.
