Periodic (4-weekly) statistics containing data on the number of Disabled Persons Railcards in circulation. Whilst all of these statistics are published at a periodic level, they are updated quarterly.

Key results

  • There were 271,831 Disabled Persons Railcards (DPRC) in circulation at the end of rail period 7, an increase of 18% compared with the end of the same rail period in the previous year.
  • Overall, 46,649 one-year DPRC were issued during rail periods 5 to 7 of the latest year. This is 17% higher than the same rail periods in the previous year.
  • There were 18,301 three-year DPRC issued during rail periods 5 to 7 of the latest year. This is 36% higher than the same rail periods in the previous year.
