Key results

  • There were 192,764 DPRC in circulation at the end of 2021-22 rail period 7 (16 October 2021). This represents an increase of 2.7% compared with a year ago but is 23.7% lower than two years ago.
  • Overall, 34,501 one-year DPRC were issued during 2021-22 rail periods 5 to 7. This is 89.7% higher than the same rail periods in 2020-21 and 5.4% higher than the same rail periods in 2019-20.
  • There were 14,325 three-year DPRC issued during 2021-22 rail periods 5 to 7. This is 85.9% higher than the same rail periods in 2020-21 and 8.4% higher than the same rail periods in 2019-20.
